Alfonso Cabrera – Speaker Spotlight

Alfonso Cabrera is currently employed at Red Ventures as a Cloud Engineer, where his days are filled with AWS, CI/CD and monitoring.

Alfonso is a graduate of both Tech Talent South and Night Shift; and is certified as an AWS Solutions Architect.  He is passionate about continued learning, and equally enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and experience.  In an effort to promote technology in Charlotte, North Carolina where he makes his home, he co-founded Team Luna, and organized meetups for Ansible Charlotte and Docker Charlotte.  Additionally, he is a fixture in the local DevOps community, where he functions as the lead organizer for DevOpsDays Charlotte.

In his free time, Alfonso enjoys being a family man, playing sports, and is an avid gamer.

This Spring, Alfonso Cabrera will discuss #Serverless – Deep Dive on AWS Lambda during his session for Syntax Code & Craft Conference – Coastal South Carolina’s premier programmer’s code gathering.   SyntaxCon brings together developers, both established and new, to learn, discuss ideas, collaborate, network and socialize in an inclusive and welcoming experience for all.

  • Platforms (content management systems, cloud-hosted services, mobile applications and infrastructure.
