Syntax Code & Craft Conference 2017 Speaker - Adam Smith

Getting to Know Adam Smith

In his youth Adam Smith began building websites, an endeavor that on the face seemed at odds with the degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies he earned at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

After his college years, he held positions at Wide Open Technologies and RPI Media.  In these positions he gained exposure to, and proficiency with Website Management, e-Marketing and email marketing management.  In addition, Adam is well-versed in database management and admin back-end creation for event management.

With a view to “bring a creative perspective to business solutions with the leveraged power of web technology” he then founded ACODESMITH where he functions as the lead developer. ACODESMITH focuses on e-Commerce frameworks, WordPress plugin development, and highly interactive web interfaces.

In Asheville, North Carolina where Adam both works and plays, his passion for JavaScript, impressive user interfaces and movies is well known.
