Charleston, South Carolina based Trip Ottinger, over the last twenty plus years garnered both experience, and expertise that contribute to his efficacy as a programming Instructor. Trip brings to the table a background in the design, implementation and consultation of custom business software solutions across several industries.  He has worked at reputable companies like SolTech, Inc; EnterSolve, Shaw Industries Group, Inc., and Blackbaud, filling various technical and training roles.

Trip is an accomplished technical presenter; classroom and e-learning teacher with courseware development and classroom based training skills, and was a blog contributor to the Blackbaud Developer Network.  In his capacity as Lead Developer Instructor at JRS Coding School, Trip currently teaches PouchDB, CouchDB, MySQL, functional JavaScript, and ReactJS.

This Spring, Trip Ottinger will discuss Offline First Application Development with PouchDB during his session for Syntax Code & Craft Conference – Coastal South Carolina’s premier programmer’s code gathering.   SyntaxCon brings together developers, both established and new, to learn, discuss ideas, collaborate, network and socialize in an inclusive and welcoming experience for all.
